- Worn up, secured and off the collar in a natural colour — the practical standard for dense summer rosters shuttling between Germany and the Turkish coast. No list of permitted styles is published.
- Make-up
- Not published. An understated, uniform-coordinated face is the working expectation, closer to the European standard than to the prescriptive Gulf approach, and the detail comes from the initial course.
- Facial hair
- No published rule. The Turkish carrier norm is clean-shaven for male crew, though the Lufthansa half of the joint venture is more relaxed about neatly kept facial hair — ask recruitment for the current position.
- Nails
- Short, clean and neutral. There are no published shade or length limits; anything long or decorated is impractical on four-sector summer days regardless.
- Glasses & contacts
- SunExpress publishes no eyewear rule. Plain prescription frames are normal on the line, and a spare pair is worth carrying through the peak season.
- Piercings
- Not published. One pair of small plain earrings for female crew and none for male crew is the baseline the uniform standard assumes.
- Jewellery
- Minimal and plain — a watch and a simple ring. No published list exists, so keep the assessment day conservative.
- Tattoos in uniform
- Nothing may be visible in uniform, judged against what the short-sleeved uniform shirt exposes. Forearm, wrist, hand, lower-leg, neck and face designs are the disqualifying ones; covered placements are fine.
- Headscarf
- SunExpress does not publish a headscarf policy for cabin crew. Ask recruitment directly, particularly if you are applying to the German-speaking intakes where the position may differ.
- Uniform
- A practical leisure-carrier uniform in the airline's blue and yellow identity, issued and fitted before initial training in Antalya. It is built for Mediterranean summer flying, which is more of a design constraint than it sounds.
- Weight & proportion
- SunExpress applies a height-weight proportion check at the assessment day alongside the reach test, and requires an aviation medical. No BMI band or weight figure is published.
