Kenyan candidates typically present well in English and in customer confidence - the differentiators are elsewhere. The main eliminators: arm reach below 212 cm, visible tattoos or scars in uniform areas, passport validity, and a CV that lists job titles without evidence of customer-facing responsibility. In the final interview, expect specific behavioural questions about handling a difficult passenger or a service failure; prepare two or three real examples with a clear situation, action and outcome. A note on the medical: Gulf carriers run a comprehensive pre-joining medical including dental, and dental work that has been deferred for cost reasons is worth addressing before you get that far. - ⚠Fake Kenya Airways and Gulf carrier recruitment adverts circulate constantly on Facebook, WhatsApp and jobs blogs, usually asking for an "application processing fee" or "medical fee" of KES 2,000-20,000.
