Exacting and detail-driven, in line with the operation: EVA screens appearance formally in Taoyuan before the interview stages, and the working standard is issued during the two-month training course.

- Hair
- Neat, secured and natural in colour, worn up and off the collar for female crew. EVA publishes no list of permitted styles.
- Make-up
- Discreet and groomed, matched to the green uniform. Expect it to be assessed at the appearance screening rather than merely mentioned in the advert.
- Facial hair
- Male crew clean-shaven; no beard allowance is published.
- Nails
- Short, clean and neutral. Extensions and nail art are outside the standard.
- Glasses & contacts
- EVA does not publish a spectacle rule; its medical screening covers corrected vision. Plain frames or contact lenses are the safe preparation for the appearance assessment.
- Piercings
- One pair of small earlobe studs for female crew; nothing visible elsewhere.
- Jewellery
- Plain and minimal — a watch, a wedding band, small studs and the issued badge.
- Tattoos in uniform
- Nothing visible in uniform. EVA's grooming screen happens in person before the interview stages, so anything on the forearms, wrists, hands or neck is seen and counted on the day.
- Headscarf
- EVA Air does not publish a headscarf policy and the uniform has no headscarf piece. Ask the recruitment team directly.
- Uniform
- EVA's signature green, worn as a fitted uniform with a scarf and matching accessories; male crew wear a dark suit.
