EgyptAir Cabin Crew

EgyptAir, founded in 1932, is one of the oldest airlines on earth and the flag carrier of the Arab world's most populous country. A Star Alliance member since 2008, it flies roughly 70 aircraft — 787s, A330s, 737s and A320-family jets — from Cairo to around 80 destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia and North America. In Cairo's cost of living, that supports a comfortable life, and the job carries genuine social prestige in Egypt.

The culture is formal and hierarchical, as befits a 90-year-old state airline: grooming rules are conservative, promotion runs strictly on seniority, and change comes slowly. In exchange, crew get stability that private-sector Egyptian employers rarely match, generous staff travel, and a flying career that can span decades. Recruitment is run through EgyptAir's own channels and effectively targets Egyptian nationals, with Arabic and English both required on board.
