Lufthansa Munich vs Frankfurt base, which one for a new joiner?

#1 Learning German, planning ahead. If I get to Lufthansa, Munich or Frankfurt? Cost of living, roster, the city?

#2 Frankfurt: bigger network, more long haul, the main hub, rent slightly lower than Munich but the city is less loved. Munich: gorgeous city, the Alps, very high rent, slightly smaller long haul network but growing. Roster patterns are similar. If you want the biggest network Frankfurt, if you want the life Munich and a flatmate. Both have big crew communities.

#3 Frankfurt person here and I would say Frankfurt for the network. But I visit Munich colleagues a lot.
