Delta flight attendant hiring 2026, application, video interview, in-person event, timeline
-
#1 Delta hires in waves and gets tens of thousands of applications per wave, so here's the process as it ran for me:
1. Online application (short window, apply the day it opens).
2. On-demand video interview, 5-7 questions, be concise and warm.
3. Live video interview with a recruiter.
4. In-person event in Atlanta: group activity, a reach test, a short interview.
5. Offer, then training in Atlanta (about 6 weeks), then base assignment. My timeline: applied in January, video interview in February, Atlanta in April, training in June, first flight in August. No degree required; customer service experience and a second language help a lot.

#2 United's process is nearly identical in shape. The tip that applies to both: apply within hours of the posting opening, they close early when the volume hits.

#3 American too. The US majors all run the same funnel; the differences are training location and base list.
