African carriers hiring in late 2026: Ethiopian, Kenya Airways, RAM, EgyptAir, FlySafair, the regionals and the Gulf events across Africa, from the ground
-
#1 Ghana, and following the regional hiring threads (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Canada), here is the African picture this month from the crew at the airlines and the applicant groups across the continent. Same rules: what is running, not the page, the date. Add below.
Ethiopian
Recruiting Ethiopian nationals in rounds as the fleet grows (the A350s and 787s), the academy running courses continuously, the partner airline training contracts active. Confirmed by friends at the academy. The largest African hiring.
Kenya Airways
Irregular rounds following the airline's finances, a round this year that the Nairobi applicant groups confirm, courses in Nairobi. Melissa's thread has the applicant side.
Royal Air Maroc
Recruiting Moroccans in waves as the 787 fleet grows, the Casablanca assessment days regular, courses at the RAM centre. Mohamed's thread. Confirmed.
EgyptAir
Rounds for Egyptians as the A350s arrive, the paperwork heavy process Ibrahim described, courses in Cairo. Confirmed by the EgyptAir crew on this forum.
Air Algérie and Tunisair
Smaller rounds for nationals, following the fleet plans, with Air Algérie's new aircraft orders the trigger. Karim and Nadia's threads. Rounds this year confirmed for both.
FlySafair and the South African carriers
FlySafair hiring continuously as it grows, Kwesi's thread. Airlink hiring for the regional. The South African domestic market is the continent's most active low cost hiring.
The regional and the smaller carriers
RwandAir hiring Rwandans and regional nationals for Kigali as the airline grows. Air Côte d'Ivoire for Abidjan. Air Senegal for Dakar. Uganda Airlines for Entebbe. The West and East African regional carriers hire nationals in small rounds and the applicant groups in each country know the dates.
The Gulf events across Africa
Emirates, Qatar and Etihad continue to hold events in Lagos, Accra, Abidjan, Dakar, Nairobi, Addis, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Casablanca, Cairo, Tunis and Algiers on a rolling basis. The African crew are a growing share of the Gulf cabins and the events are the largest single source of hires on the continent. The Nairobi, Johannesburg and Casablanca threads have the current descriptions.
The documents, again
Every African thread ends here: the police clearance, the passport, the apostille, started before the event. The African applicants who miss joining dates miss them on documents, at every airline, in every country.
Quieter
South African Airways, rebuilding slowly. Some of the smaller national carriers whose pages are open and whose courses are not. Crew there can say.
Reply with your airline, country, what you have seen, and the date. Africa has a thread now. The applicants from Lagos to Cape Town deserve it current.

#2 Nairobi, this month: the Kenya Airways round confirmed by the applicant group with courses in October, the Emirates Nairobi event in August produced calls, the Qatar event next month announced. The documents started. Confirmed.
-
#3 FlySafair Johannesburg, this month: two courses in the last eight weeks, the base growing for the summer, Airlink also hiring. The South African low cost hiring is continuous. Confirmed.
-
#4 Casablanca, this month: the RAM assessment days running monthly, my application in the current round, the Qatar Casablanca event in two months announced. Confirmed from the ground.
-
#5 EgyptAir Cairo, this month: a round for the A350 arrival, courses at the academy, the paperwork as slow as ever. Confirmed.
-
#6 Accra, aspiring, this month: the Emirates Accra event announced for next quarter, the Ethiopian academy contract with a regional carrier taking applications, the applicant group active. Thank you for the thread, Kwame.
-
#7 Emirates purser, from Nairobi, this month: new joiners from Lagos, Accra and Johannesburg on my last four flights, the African share of the batches growing. The Gulf events across Africa are producing courses. Confirmed from Dubai.

#8 Thank you all. Africa has a thread with six countries in a day. Keep it current and keep the documents paragraph in every reply.
