#1 Holly, Calgary, WestJet for five years, the 737 domestic and sun flying with the 787 bid coming. I joined because the Canadian section of this forum was Rouge, Porter and a paragraph on WestJet, and the Anglophone Canadians without French needed someone to say where the door is.
What I have written so far: the Canadian requirements side by side, WestJet Calgary from inside, and the Canadian hiring thread with Emilie. What I will write: the WestJet 787 long haul once I hold it, the Calgary winter operation for the crew who have never de-iced at minus 30, and the CUPE agreement explained for new hires.
What I want: the Air Canada crews to keep me honest on the French, the Porter crews to argue with me about the east, and the American crews to tell me how the boarding pay fight went at their airlines so I can tell our union.
English, a little French that would not pass Emilie's test, and fluent chinook. Ask me about Calgary. I am the base.

#4 American Chicago, and the boarding pay fight: the APFA got it in the 2024 agreement after years, and every other US and Canadian union is using it as the marker now. Tell your union it is winnable. Welcome.
