Hello from Mumbai: hotel front office, Emirates call received on day 51, joining in six weeks

#1 Priya, Mumbai, four years on a hotel front desk, and as of last week an Emirates joiner with a date. I found this forum in the waiting weeks and it is the reason I had the police clearance started before the call.
What I have written so far: the Mumbai open day with numbers, the hotel to cabin CV rewrite, and the Indian applicant's paperwork after the call. What I will write: the training from an Indian trainee's side, week by week, because the training threads are British, Brazilian, Egyptian and Australian and there is no Indian one, and half the batch will be Indian.
What I want: the Indian crew in Dubai to tell me which building, which bank and which Indian grocery, and the pursers to tell me what a new Indian joiner gets wrong in month one so I can not do it.
Hindi, Marathi, English, and hotel Gujarati. Ask me anything about the Mumbai process. I have counted everything.

#2 Qatar from Mumbai, so the other Gulf, and welcome. The Indian grocery in Dubai is a whole thread and someone at Emirates will write it for you. The month one mistake: calling home in the galley. Do it on the bus.

#4 Emirates purser, and the new Indian joiner month one mistake in my experience is being too quiet in the galley out of respect for the seniors. Ask questions. We want them. Welcome.
