Hello from Mexico City: Aeroméxico 787 long haul, three years, and the altitude is not a joke

#1 Marisol, Mexico City, Aeroméxico for three years, on the 787 long haul to Europe for the last year. I found this forum through the layover threads (someone had written Madrid up badly and I needed to fix it, which I have) and I have stayed for the honest pay threads.
What I can offer: the Aeroméxico process for Mexican applicants, the long haul from a 2,240 metre hub and what the altitude does to a duty, the Madrid and Amsterdam layovers in detail, the union agreement that Mexican crew work under, and the honest comparison between the Mexican low cost carriers and the flag carrier for anyone in Mexico deciding.
What I want: the Iberia and KLM crews' view of Mexico City as a layover, because I only know my city from the inside, and the European long haul crews' tricks for the body clock, because Mexico City to Madrid is a seven hour swing and I am still learning.
Spanish, English, and enough Portuguese from the São Paulo flights to order dinner. Ask me anything about flying from the highest hub in the network.

#2 Iberia, and welcome. Mexico City is my favourite layover on the Latin America network: the Roma and Condesa walk, the Sunday at Chapultepec, the tacos al pastor at 1am after the flight. The altitude gets us too on arrival. We know.
