Suggestion: a 'from the crew' box on the airline profile pages, pulling the latest replies from crew who fly for that airline

The airline crew badge is live and it has given me an idea for the profile pages, which I am posting here in case it is buildable and in case it is not.

    The idea

The Emirates profile page shows the latest four topics from the Emirates board, which is useful. Now that replies from Emirates crew are tagged, the profile could also show the latest two or three replies from tagged Emirates crew, from any board, as short quotes with a link. A candidate reading the Emirates salary page would see, under the numbers, 'Emirates crew said this week:' and three sentences from people who actually fly there.

    Why

Because the airline pages are the numbers and the forum is the voices, and the badge has just made the voices identifiable. A candidate trusts a sentence from a tagged crew member more than a paragraph from the site, and the site knows it, which is why the forum exists.

    The caveat

It should only pull from members who have chosen to show their airline on their profile, which the badge already requires. And it should not pull from deleted or moderated posts. And a member should be able to opt out of appearing on the profile page, if that is possible, because not everyone who is tagged on a thread wants to be quoted on the airline's page.

    If it is not buildable

The latest topics box is already good and this is a refinement. I would rather the site kept working than added things. But the badge made it possible and I wanted to write it down while it was fresh.

Thoughts from crew, especially the ones who would be quoted?

Purser, and I would be fine being quoted on the Emirates page from a tagged reply, with the opt out. The candidates reading the salary page are the ones I answer in DMs anyway. Putting the answers where they look is the point.

Emirates, and the opt out is the important part. I say things in the forum that are honest and I would want to choose whether they appear on the airline's page. With the opt out, yes.

Purser, and the 'the airline pages are the numbers and the forum is the voices' framing is exactly right and it is the reason the badge was worth building. This is the next step if the site wants it. If not, the topics box is enough.

@sophiedxb the opt out is non negotiable in my version. Nobody appears on a profile page without choosing to.

Adding to the open list from my thread. This one is a refinement and it is a good one and it depends on the badge, which exists. Whether it gets built is the site's call. It is written down now.

Candidate, and I would read the three sentences from tagged crew before I read anything else on the page. That is the honest answer from the person the feature is for.
