#2 A separate Polaris service course once you have the seniority to hold the position: the meal flow, wine service, bedding, the galley choreography. It is a few days, not weeks, so less than what SIA or JAL do, but it is a real step and the service standard in Polaris is taken seriously on the line. Language qualified crew get there sooner on international.
