Iberia Express assessment next week. Group dynamic in Spanish, then what? Anyone been recently?

#1 Gym receptionist in Madrid, 27, and I have the Iberia Express assessment next Tuesday. I know the general shape of these days but every airline has its own quirks and I would like the Iberia Express specific version from someone who did it this year or last.
What the invite says: bring passport, CV, the qualifications they asked for, and dress in business attire. It is a morning session, three to four hours.
What I have heard second hand:
- A group dynamic in Spanish, about eight people, a case to discuss
- An English conversation in pairs or with a recruiter
- A short individual chat
- Some people got an email the same week, some waited a month
What I want to know:
- Is the English part a proper test or a chat? My English is conversational, not academic.
- How competitive is it right now? Iberia Express seems to be hiring but I do not know if that means twenty people or two hundred.
- The gym job: people say retail and hospitality count, does front desk at a gym? I deal with cancellations and complaints all day but it is not exactly a restaurant.
- The contract. I have read that Iberia Express contracts are seasonal at first. How long before it becomes something you can rent a flat on?
Any recent experience would help. The Spanish forums are full of stuff from 2019.

#2 Iberia Express, three years, did the assessment in 2023. The English part is a conversation with a recruiter, not an exam. They want to hear you can handle a passenger in English without freezing. Conversational is fine. The group case was a customer scenario and they mostly watched how we listened. Gym front desk counts completely, say it in terms of complaints handled and memberships saved.

#3 Vueling here but I did the Iberia Express one before. The seasonal thing is real: first contracts were fixed term for the summer, then a longer one if they kept you. It took a friend of mine two summers to get the indefinite contract. Renting was possible on the first one but landlords in Madrid want the indefinite, so plan for a room share for year one.

#5 On the competition: Iberia Express does days in Madrid regularly and each one has maybe 40 to 60 people. It is not the Emirates 200 in a hall situation. Your odds are better than the Gulf, your pay will be lower. That is the deal with every Spanish carrier.

#6 Applying in Valencia and following this. Did they ask anything about willingness to relocate, or is Madrid the only base for Iberia Express anyway?

#7 @diegovlc94 Madrid only for Iberia Express, so no relocation question, but they do ask about availability for the summer peak and whether you can commit to the training dates. Have your calendar clear and say so.
