#1 At 25 I did not think about the pension. At 55 it is the thing I think about most. Legacy carriers with pension schemes are worth more than the tax free salary over a career. If you are at a Gulf carrier, save a percentage yourself every month from day one, because nobody is doing it for you. That is the whole post.
