Ultra long haul allowance versus turnaround months, which is better for saving?

#1 Qatar: which month type actually saves more, the ULR heavy one with big allowances or the turnaround heavy one where you cannot spend anything?

#2 Turnaround months, honestly. The allowances on ULR are bigger but so is the spending in Auckland or LA. A month of Doha turnarounds is boring and cheap and the salary sits in the account. The ULR months are for the soul.
