Seven years. The standards are strict: specific hair styles, makeup requirements for women, nails, the uniform fit, and posture is coached. It is comparable to SIA. It is not cruel, it is a standard applied consistently, and once it is habit it takes ten minutes. Foreign hires get the same training. If you hate rules, it is the wrong airline; if you like a clear standard, it is fine.
