Colour blindness and cabin crew, I am mildly red green deficient

#1 Found out in a school test I am mildly red green colour deficient. Does this end the cabin crew plan?

#2 Not necessarily. The medical checks that you can distinguish the colours used in cabin signage, emergency lighting and equipment. Mild deficiency often passes a practical lantern style test. Severe deficiency can be disqualifying. Get a proper test from an optometrist and bring the result to the medical. Plenty of crew are mildly deficient.
