Applying with a nose piercing, do I have to remove it?

#1 Small nose stud. Do I remove it for the photos and the assessment, or is it fine at some airlines?

#2 Remove it for the photos and the assessment everywhere, and know that the Gulf and most Asian carriers will not allow it in uniform. Some European LCCs allow a small clear retainer. The hole itself is not an issue.

#3 Air New Zealand allows a small nose stud in uniform. We are the exception, not the rule.
