Training week 2. Sales module tomorrow. I want the honest version of year one from people who did it. Good, bad, and would you do it again.

Good: fixed pattern, home every night, the crew are young and fun, the sales commission. Bad: winter hours, the 04:30 reports, the pressure on turnarounds. Again: yes, as a first job, absolutely.

Good: you learn fast, three years here and I could work anywhere. Bad: agency contract year one if you get one, read every line. Again: yes.

Applied and waiting so reading this closely. The winter hours thing keeps coming up.

Did a year at Ryanair Prague before Wizz. Good: the experience. Bad: felt like a number. Again: yes for a year, not for five.

Friend at Ryanair Rome says the same, great first year, hard fourth.

Aer Lingus now, Ryanair first. It made me employable. The 04:30 reports never got easier.

One more good: the training is excellent. Whatever people say about the company, the SEP training is properly done.

Same path as George. Ryanair year one was the best worst year of my life.

Best worst year is exactly what I expected. Sales module went fine by the way, I can sell a scratch card now.

Jet2 person here, our first year is similar minus the sales pressure. The 04:30 is universal.

Connor, welcome to the club. Save the summer money. That is the only advice that matters in year one.
