Every week someone asks and every week they get a range. Let's do real numbers. Grade, years, typical month total in AED, roughly. I will start: Grade I, 3 years, normal month about 12,000 to 13,500 including allowances. Housing and transport provided on top.

Business grade, 5 years, 14,000 to 16,500 depending on layovers. A heavy Australia month is the top of that.

  3. #3

First class grade, 9 years, 17,000 to 19,000. Purser and above is another step again.

  4. #4

Grade I, 4 years, 12,500 average across last year. I keep a spreadsheet.

  5. #5

Grade I, 4 years, similar, 12,000 to 13,000. The African layover allowances are lower than Europe or Australia.

  6. #6

Training right now: training allowance is much lower, budget for it, then it jumps.

  7. #7

Grade II, 1 year, 10,500 to 11,500. First year is the lowest and then it climbs.

  8. #8

Purser, 6 years, 19,000 to 22,000. The responsibility is real, the number is real too.

  9. #9

Purser on 777, similar to Sophie. And to the people comparing with Europe: add the housing, it is worth 4,000 to 6,000 a month in Dubai rent.

Grade I, 4 years, 12,000 to 13,500. Consistent with everyone. Nobody here is making the 25,000 that TikTok says.

Ex Emirates, left as business grade at 7 years around 15,000. Now corporate jets, different world, day rates.

Summary: Grade II 10.5 to 11.5k, Grade I 12 to 13.5k, Business 14 to 16.5k, First 17 to 19k, Purser 19 to 22k. All tax free with housing. That is the honest table.
