Pregnancy and applying: can I go to an assessment day while pregnant?

#1 A friend is 10 weeks pregnant and has an Air France assessment. She wants to go and defer the start. Is that possible or a waste of everyone's time?

#2 She can attend, there is no rule against it and she is not obliged to disclose at the assessment. If she gets an offer, the medical will come up and the airline will discuss a deferred start or a later intake. In France the protection for pregnant workers applies from when she is employed. Practically: go, do well, and have the conversation after the offer, not before.

#3 In Sweden the same. SAS deferred a colleague's start by a year and she joined the next intake. Tell her to go.
