"Tell me about a time you failed" in a cabin crew interview, how honest should I be?

#1 Prepping for Vueling and this question is on every list. How honest? My real failure is that I got fired from a bar job at 20 for being late too often. Obviously I have changed but do I say that?

#2 Not that one. Airlines are obsessed with punctuality and you would be handing them the one thing they fear. Pick a real, smaller failure with a clear fix: a wrong order you owned up to, a project that missed a deadline and what you changed after. Honest, specific, fixed. The story should end with the behaviour you now have, not the behaviour you used to have.

#3 Vueling asked me this exact question. I used a mixed up booking at a restaurant job. Two sentences on the mistake, three on what I did after. It was fine.
