United person here but a friend just did the Delta Atlanta event and asked me to post it for her since she doesn't have an account yet.

Around 40 people in her session. Reach test first. Then a group activity where they had to plan a passenger recovery after a cancelled flight, in teams of six with a recruiter watching each table. Then short one on one interviews, 15 minutes. What surprised her: they asked everyone to stand and give a 30 second intro to the room at the start, no warning. Practice that.

The 30 second intro is standard now at Delta, and yes, nobody warns you. Say your name, your city, one line about your background and one line about why Delta. Smile, sit down. The people who go over a minute get remembered for the wrong reason.

American does the same at the Dallas event. It's the first thing they score.
