Reapplying after a rejection: do airlines remember your first application?

#1 Rejected by Emirates in 2024 after the group stage. Reapplied this year and reached the final interview. Does the recruiter see the old file? Do they hold it against you?

#2 They see it, and no, it doesn't count against you. Plenty of crew got in on the second or third try. What the recruiter notices is whether the thing that failed last time changed. If you were cut at the group stage and this time you got through it, that is a positive note on the file, not a negative one.
