Which languages actually help a cabin crew application in 2026?
-
#1 Spanish native, English C1, some Italian. Is a third language worth putting on the form if it is only A2? And which languages do airlines actually want right now?
-
#2 Put it with the honest level, A2 is fine as a line but don't claim more. The ones I see requested most: German for Lufthansa group and Austrian, French for the French carriers and some Gulf routes, Mandarin and Japanese for the Asian route rounds at Korean Air and Cathay, Arabic for the Gulf as a plus not a must. Spanish plus English is already a strong combination for LATAM, Iberia, Vueling and all the US majors with Latin flying.

#3 Dutch for KLM is required, not a plus. Just so nobody applies expecting English only.

#4 Italian at A2 goes on then, no inflation. Cheers.
