#1 Everyone hears about the targets. The reality: there is a per flight and per crew sales figure the base watches, mostly for the scratch cards, perfume and food. Commission is paid on what you sell so hitting it is in your interest. Consistently low sellers get a chat with the base manager, not a sacking, and coaching on the approach. The good sellers make it a friendly game, not a hard sell. If you hate selling, this is genuinely the wrong airline. If you can do it with a smile, it is real extra money.

#2 Wizz is very similar. The chat with the base manager is about coaching but it is a chat you don't want twice.
