#1 Every few months someone posts "X airline has frozen hiring". How do you tell what's true? Some of these turned out to be nonsense.

#2 Trust three sources: the careers page (if the posting is up, they're hiring), the airline's official social accounts, and crew you know who see training intakes. Ignore: "my friend's cousin", screenshots without dates, and any post that says "forever". Airlines pause and restart by season; a pause is not a freeze.
