Pay is tax-free and housing support exists but it's not the full Etihad/Emirates package; the lifestyle is Abu Dhabi, which is calm and good for saving. If your goal is long-haul and the big-carrier experience, it's a stepping stone; if you want Abu Dhabi life with a simpler roster, it's a fair option.
