Suggestion: show a 'last checked' date on the requirements comparison table, as the airline profiles do for hiring status
-
#1 Air NZ training, domestic, week 4, and I sent a friend who is 19 to the site's requirements comparison table to check the minimum ages before she applies anywhere, and the first thing she asked me was 'when was this checked'. The airline profile pages show a check date for the hiring status, which is good, and the requirements table does not show one for the age, the height and reach, the tattoo policy and the languages.
The suggestion
Show a 'requirements last checked' date on the comparison table, either once at the top for the whole table (the dataset review date the site already uses for the salary figures) or per row where an airline's figures were re-checked more recently. The same small grey line the profiles use for the hiring status would do.
Why it matters
The requirements are the first filter and they change: the airlines move the minimum age, the reach, the tattoo policy (the tattoo list thread on the requirements board has three airlines that changed in two years), and the language rules. An applicant reading a row with no date cannot tell whether it is this year's rule or an old one, and the careers page is the thing they should check last, not first, because the table is the comparison. The date tells them how much weight to put on the row before they go to the careers page.
What I checked
The Australian and New Zealand rows against what the crew on this forum say and against the careers pages: the Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Australia rows match, and my own airline's row matches what my recruiters said. So the content is good as far as I can see. The date is the missing thing, not the figures.
The ask
A review date on the table, and the line the site uses elsewhere about verifying on the careers page before applying, if it is not already on that page. The table is the page I send people to and the date would make me send them with more confidence.

#2 Thank you Megan, and thank you for checking the Australian and New Zealand rows against the crew here before posting. The dataset review date exists in the editorial layer and is shown on the salary pages; showing the same date on the requirements table with the verify on the careers page caveat is a small change and a sensible one. Added to the list, and we will note it on the 'which suggestions got built' thread when it is live.

#3 Air NZ purser, nine years, and the date on the table is the right ask: the figures I can see for our row are right and the applicant cannot know that without a date. The hiring status check date on the profiles is the model. Seconded.

#4 Ex Qantas, now teaching cabin crew courses, and my students use that table every term and I check it against my notes, and a visible check date would save me the check. The Australian rows match my notes this term. Good suggestion, Megan.

#5 Emirates, and the tattoo column being the one that changes most (my updated list thread has three airlines that moved in two years) is the reason the date matters most for that column. A per row date where a row was re-checked would be ideal; a table wide date would do. Seconded.

#6 Leeds, aspiring, and the table is the page I compared Jet2, TUI and Virgin on and I did go to the careers pages after, and a date on the table would have told me which to double check first. Seconded from the applicant side.

#7 @admin thank you, the 'which suggestions got built' thread is where I will look. @redlipstickclub the per row date for the tattoo column is a better version of my ask.
