Hello from Dallas: American Airlines, six years, the Latin America and Europe lines, a union rep, and here to make the US section read the contract
-
#1 Matthew, Dallas, American Airlines for six years, DFW based, the Latin America and Europe lines, and an APFA rep for two. I wrote the escalation scenario thread and the APFA pay table one before introducing myself, which the forum's introduction thread says is the order everyone does it in.
What I can offer: the American Airlines side of the US majors (the DFW base, the APFA contract line by line, the union rep's year on the line, the Latin America flying from Texas), the US overtime and junior assignment structure against the European one, the US hiring from the panel observer's chair, and the boarding pay story that the Canadian unions are chasing.
What I want: the Delta non union crew to keep the conversation honest (Sally and Cassie already do), the United AFA reps to compare documents, the Canadian CUPE reps to take the boarding pay language, and the international crew to tell me what a union means at their airlines so the US section stops assuming ours is the only shape.
English, Texan, and the Spanish from the Latin America lines that is good enough for the cabin and not the contract. Ask me about the contract. I will cite the section.

#2 American Chicago, and Matthew is the rep I cite in the Chicago crew room and now the forum has him. The section citations are real and annoying and correct. Welcome, properly.
-
#3 Delta JFK, non union, and the honest conversation is the thing the Delta section wants from the American reps and Matthew has it. Welcome. The policy's voice and the document's voice, both on the forum now.

#4 easyJet union rep, and the union rep from the US major introducing himself as the one who reads the document is the rep I recognise from Manchester. Welcome, colleague. The documents differ and the job is the same.

#5 WestJet Calgary, and the boarding pay language is on its way to the CUPE reps as promised in the Canadian threads. Welcome, Matthew. The winnable word is in the meeting notes.

#6 Lufthansa, and the works council member and the APFA rep comparing documents is the thing the forum's rights section should host. Welcome. The Tarifvertrag is thicker and the fights are the same.
